Granite Mountain Hot Shot Park Opens

Tucked in the mountains outside of Yarnell, Arizona is the Granite Mountain Hotshot Memorial Park. Surrounded by sweeping views and rugged terrain the Arizona State Parks created a path of remembrance for these fallen heroes. Today Governor Doug Ducey gave a moving tribute to these brave men and officially opened the memorial park. He encouraged all of Arizona to visit, to learn and to experience the last steps of the Hotshots. We were honored to be there today and to see the beautiful tribute that was created - deep in the land these 19 men loved.
